Genevieve Guertin is a passionate advocate for individuals facing workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation or wrongful termination, as well as for people who have been harmed by the negligence or willful misconduct of others.

Ms. Guertin graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2008.  During law school Ms. Guertin was a published contributor to the Hastings Law Journal Symposium Issue on Family Responsibilities Discrimination in Employment.  Ms. Guertin also clerked for Equal Rights Advocates, a non-profit women’s rights law firm.  Before this, she volunteered at the Employment Law Center’s Workers’ Rights Clinic, where she counseled clients on a wide range of work-related issues such as harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and denial of wages.

Ms. Guertin clerked during and after law school for Haddad & Sherwin, assisting in civil rights, personal injury and sexual harassment cases.  She was also a Graduate Research Fellow for the WorkLife Law Center at UC Hastings.  Since joining the Dolan Law Firm, Ms. Guertin has continued her advocacy for the rights of individuals in employment and personal injury matters.

Ms. Guertin graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001, after which she packed up her car and drove to San Francisco.  Before law school she was a children’s behavioral health counselor and research assistant.  In her free time, Ms. Guertin enjoys playing and writing music, hiking, baking, knitting and being a book geek.
